Hope Delivered: Good Friday Outreach

Hello friends and supporters! We had our annual Good Friday Outreach this past weekend. It was a delight to go into two strip clubs and bless these precious ladies.

We want to thank Christ Church Presbyterian in Buckhead for the beautiful bags of love. And a big thank you to all of our donors who make these outreaches possible. Because of all of you, we were able to deliver 75 bags of love. 

The outreach was also special as we had VF alumni Brandi join us. We do not expect the candidates from VF to come and serve but it is a wonderful blessing when they do.

Brandi's Story

I spent Good Friday at a strip club.

Today was a big day. I have been so caught up in my new life in Christ, I honestly forgot where I came from. My personal testimony has some very dark moments that have been tucked nicely away. I worked in the sex industry for many years, and after every woman’s worst nightmare - a home invasion, I was forced but eventually delivered from my old life. The last time I walked through the doors of a strip club, I was employed there. Today I went through the doors to deliver the message of Hope through Jesus Christ!

Many years ago I was one of the ladies that received a basket of love through the Victoria's Friends ministry.

They were there for me when tragedy struck and God forced me onto a different path. I’m forever thankful for that.

Look, I don’t judge anyone but literally if you’ve done it, I’ve probably done it 10x worse. My sin was GREAT, his love was GREATER!!! And God showed me today that I am absolutely no better than anyone at all and I am to pick up my cross daily and TELL MY STORY!
